Refund Policy

Last updated: October 2026

SrotIndia is a marketplace. We connect buyers with sellers. We do not sell the products or services listed here, and we do not take part in the orders, delivery or payment between a buyer and a seller. This page explains what that means for refunds.

1. Who handles your order

Each order and deal is between the buyer and the seller. The seller is responsible for the product or service, its quality, its delivery and its price. SrotIndia does not dispatch goods, does not manage order fulfilment and does not decide whether a refund is due.

2. Refunds are agreed with the seller

If something is wrong with an order, first raise it with the seller in the chat where the deal was made. Share the details of the problem, photos where relevant, and the amount and terms you agreed. Most issues are settled at this step. Refund terms, return conditions and timelines are set by the seller and the buyer.

3. Payments made outside SrotIndia

If you paid the seller directly by bank transfer, UPI, cheque or any other method agreed in chat, the refund is made by the seller through the same channel. SrotIndia is not a party to that payment and cannot reverse it.

4. When to contact SrotIndia

We step in only in these cases: a seller does not reply after a reasonable period, a listing appears fake or misleading, or a seller has broken our listing rules. Write to support@srotindia.com with the seller's name, the product, the inquiry number and a short description. We will review the report and may take action on the seller's account. We cannot order a seller to pay a refund.

5. Reviews and disputes

Buyers can leave a review of a seller after a conversation with them. Reviews are checked by our admin team before they are published. A review is not a dispute process, and a rejected or removed review does not change any refund agreed between the buyer and the seller.

6. Keep your records

Save the chat history, quotations, invoices, payment receipts and delivery proof for every deal. These records are the fastest way to settle a refund dispute with a seller, and they are what we will ask for if you report a seller to us.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Changes apply to deals made after the update.
